Lilac Time Workshops – Where Flowers Meet Creativity
Spring in Goulburn is something special. The air feels lighter, the gardens burst into colour, and the city comes alive with the sweet scent of lilacs.
Every October, the Goulburn Lilac Festival is our chance to celebrate the season, our community, and the beauty that Bloomz all around us.
This year, I’m beyond excited to be teaming up with the talented Kat from Little House Galerie to bring you two very special Lilac Time Workshops. Together, we’ve created experiences where flowers and art combine to inspire, relax, and fill your heart with joy.
Saturday – Paint ‘n Sip & Flower

🕒 2pm – Adults Class
Imagine an afternoon surrounded by the colours of spring — fresh lilacs, lush greenery, and the gentle hum of creativity.
You’ll spend time crafting your own fresh floral arrangement with me, Bek from Bek’s Bloomz, using seasonal Bloomz inspired by the lilac festival.
Then, guided by Kat, you’ll bring those same blooms to life on canvas. Step-by-step, you’ll learn how to capture the texture and beauty of a lilac bouquet in paint — no prior experience needed!
All flowers, art materials, and lilac-inspired refreshments are included, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy.

Little ones can get creative too! In this workshop, kids will make their very own posy of fresh Bloomz, then create a painting inspired by their flowers. It’s a fun, hands-on way for them to explore art and nature while learning a few floral tips along the way.
Plus, we’ll keep them fuelled with lilac-inspired refreshments to keep those creative ideas flowing.
